Points Leader board; And remember, even if you don't do well in the league this month, everyone starts
the next month with the same 5000 points, so it's anyone's game to win!
Pechanga, Harrahs, Pala, Any Casino Tourney   leader Board points     Goals is to Win Final Table.
So prior to start of tournament declare yourself to be in the final table,
ask your captain, coordinator to watch on you.   "For recording,  submit results via email"

1 to 5       6 to 10      11 to 20     21 to 30             Attendance                  Chop    is among the players, always go for Glory !

A   1,000 pts    700 pts         600 pts        300 pts                250 pts            700 pts

AA  2,000        1400 pts      1200 pts       600 pts               500 pts               700

AAA 3000        2100 pts      1800 pts        900 pts               750 pts               700

Points also increase logarithmically, but not as steeply as in the section.

Example: In the very first tournament of the month all players start with 5000 points. The average field
strength is therefore 5000. Given a field size of blank players the distribution of the points will be as
follows:

Rank         Skill       Rating            Change
1                6000
2                5700
3                5600
50              5300
150            5250
300            5250
500            5250
1150          5250

Position         Points added  at Home Game
1st         +50
2nd         +30
3rd         +20
4th - 9th         +10

Field Strength    Will Changes in the Home Game Points.

Another factor that determines the points you earn is your starting score compared to the average field strength.
Players that start a tournament with a higher score will gain less points than a player who started the same
tournament with a lower score. Additionally the player with the higher starting score will lose more if they
bust out early.

Example: A player finishes 300th in a field of 1,150 players The average score is 5250.

Case 1. Ranking of the player is 6000. His score is 1000 points better than the average of the field.
Case 2. Ranking of the player is 5700. In this case he is 700 points below the average.

In case 1 he will lose 2.6 points.  In case 2, he will earn 9.6 points for his result in the tournament.

IF you like math, here is the formula example in detail ... (click to open) example.

field := size of field
rank := players finishing position
field strength:= average of starting scores of all tournament participants
2ln := Logarithm with the base 2

New score = [old score] + delta + 4 + ([field strength] - [old score]) / 33

Formula for delta:

Top 1/16 finishers:
delta = 40+(1/16-(rank/field))*16*40

Top 25% finishers:
delta = (2ln (field/rank)-2)*20

Bottom 75% finishers:
delta = (2ln (field/rank)-2)*10
